PLANetizen welcomes the submission of original Op-Ed columns that address contemporary urban planning and development issues.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
1. The article should be controversial, exploratory or push the envelope for conventional planning.
2. The editorial should address an issue relevant to urban planning and development. Appropriate topics include, but are not limited to: Land use, transportation, technology, urban design, real estate development, economic development and the environment.
3. The article cannot be blatantly self promotional, although your biography and photograph will appear at the end of the article.
4. The article should be between 500 and 800 words.
If you are interested in writing an Op-Ed column, please send a brief summary of your idea and biography indicating why you are qualified to write on this topic to Scott Smith - [email protected].
