Transportation Research Board Conference: Providing a Transportation System to Support Smart Growth
Transportation Research Board
You are invited to the TRB Conference "Providing a Transportation System to Support Smart Growth: Issues, Practices, and Implementation". Increasingly, transportation agencies are being asked to support local, regional and state smart growth goals through the delivery of their programs. What is Smart Growth? And what does a Smart Growth supportive transportation program look like?
This conference will begin answering those questions by bringing together national experts and experienced practitioners to define, through examples and case studies, what it means for transportation to support smart growth goals. The conference will explore policy, design issues and implementation tools that are being used around the country. Each participant will get the opportunity to apply these concepts in hands-on breakout sessions.
Information on the conference agenda, conference registration, and hotel reservations may be found by going to the link below, selecting "Transportation Research Board Providing a Transportation System to Support Smart Growth: Issues, Practice, and Implementation", and then following the registration instructions.
