Red Mountain, B.C. Master Plan Approval

Red Mountain is an existing ski resort, famous for its powder skiing and ski racers. It is located in Rossland BC, a town with a rich mining history and character reminiscent of Telluride, Aspen and Park City. The Master Plan, completed by Brent Harley and Associates Inc., The Resort Planning Group (BHA) will guide in the expansion of Red Mountain into a major destination resort.

Over the last several years, BHA has been responsible for the creation of the Mountain Master Plan and Village Master Plan for Red Mountain Resorts Inc. We are currently assisting in the final documentation for the zoning of their Village and ski to/ski from residential subdivisions. In addition, we are also working on the plans for the Rossland Golf Course, expanding their existing nine hole course into eighteen and developing associated fairway view residential subdivisions.

We are proud to be associated with Red Mountain and look forward to our ongoing involvement as the plan is implemented. This is the second resort master plan that we have had approved in the past year (the other being Mike Wiegele's Saddle Mountain, the first brand new, major ski resort to receive development approval in British Columbia since Blackcomb in 1978).
