The Town of Crested Butte, Colorado, is seeking a Planner II or Senior Planner to focus on long-range planning, depending on experience. As part of the Community Development team, this position will lead and support long-range planning projects and facilitate meaningful community engagement and communications.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Crested Butte by leading or supporting initiatives related to community development, land use policy, transportation/mobility, housing, economic resiliency, sustainability, and more. The ideal candidate is a critical systems thinker, team player, and effective communicator, and will have experience in comprehensive planning, project management, and community outreach, as well as a passion for preserving and enhancing the unique character of Crested Butte.
