Job Description:

Integrity Property Group is seeking a talented and driven Land Use Development and Acquisitions Intern to join our team. As a Land Use Intern, you will work alongside our team to gain hands-on experience in the real estate development and entitlement industry. You will assist with various aspects of projects, including, but not limited to, research, due diligence, real estate acquisitions, coordination with government agencies, real estate professionals, developers, business owners, and property owners. Additionally, you will work with Group One Integrity, a real estate investment company, assisting with property acquisitions, strategy, and management of existing assets and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Research property development regulations and policies
  • Assist with project due diligence and analysis
  • Attend meetings with government agencies, clients, and property owners
  • Coordinate and communicate between various stakeholders
  • Support the team in developing strategies to add value to property and obtain approvals
  • Manage miscellaneous entitlement, permitting, and utility coordination tasks
  • Assist with oversight and management of design professionals and contractors on various projects
  • Perform miscellaneous development management tasks as directed by Company Principals on various projects
  • Prepare schedules to manage projects and utilize software for project tracking
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed
  • Assist with real estate acquisitions for development and value add. This could include marketing efforts and property owner contact
  • Prepare market studies and assist with the acquisitions process
  • Manage social media including but not limited to postings and content creation

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, driven for success, and out of the box thinker
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Desire to obtain or a current Real Estate License desirable but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel, social media, and the ability to learn project management software
  • Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license and auto insurance at all times and have the availability of an insured vehicle to travel within Los Angeles County
  • Experience with CAD, Bluebeam, and/or Adobe is a plus
