"Sales of electric cars in the United States are up 40 percent from this same time last year," according to an article by Steve Scauzillo, and electric cars are more accessible than ever.

So the question Scauzillo poses the audience: Why haven’t you bought an electric or plug-in car?

The article discusses the state of the electric vehicle industry—the prices for the most popular models, the long-term well being of Tesla (you might have heard about Elon Musk feeling some pressure, but Scauzillo's article predates that revelation), emerging competition for the electric vehicle production market, and the personal benefits Scauzillo has seen from driving an own electric car.
