The project will include affordable housing and retail space near the Rosa Parks transit station.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority approved an agreement to build a mixed-use development with affordable housing on a parcel adjacent to its Rosa Parks Transit Station, reports Will Brown in Jax Today.
According to Brown, “The development will have 250 units with 25 of them set aside for people and families who make between 80% and 120% of Jacksonville’s average median income, which is $64,138.” The development will also include 100,000 square feet of retail space with a grocery store.
The transit-oriented development will bring housing to the Skyway corridor, which primarily serves office buildings. “Really great transit systems, especially urban transit systems, connect where people live to where they work, shop and play,” said Bryan Moll, CEO of developer Gateway Jax.
