In response to its number one complaint for the city's residents, the city of San Francisco is launching a "Poop Patrol" to clean the sidewalks, according to an article by Heather Knight.
"In about a month, a team of five Public Works staffers will begin patrolling the alleys around Polk Street and other hot spots in a vehicle equipped with a steam cleaner," reports Knight. The poop patrol will be on a mission to clean feces from the public realm before it inspires a complaint. The word for the mission is "proactive."
