C/CAG, the City and County Association of Governments of San Mateo County, a Joint Powers Authority, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Transportation Systems Coordinator - Climate/Energy.
Transportation Systems Coordinators plan, organize, and coordinate activities and programs related to the Congestion Management Program in San Mateo County. This Climate/Energy position plays a prominent role in C/CAG's leadership on climate, energy, and transportation efforts, driving both planning and implementation across San Mateo County.
In addition, Transportation Systems Coordinators provide technical and administrative support to the City/County Association of Governments (C/CAG) and its committees on transportation and climate issues. Responsibilities include agenda planning, presentations, research and policy recommendations. The Transportation Systems Coordinators also coordinate projects with the cities within the County, the County Sustainability Department and regional and state partners. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to addressing climate action, the building energy transition, conservation of potable water supplies, transportation, equity, and C/CAG’s legislative initiatives.
