Strategic Economics seeks to fill the following position:
Associate I
- Master’s degree in city planning, public policy, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills - the applicant must have experience analyzing various data sources, including Census and employment data.
- Experience with one or more of the following areas: statistical analysis, regional economic analysis, pro forma modeling, market analysis, and fiscal analysis.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ArcGIS.
- Excellent writing skills.
Creative thinkers are encouraged to apply. The ability to manage budgets, deadlines, and work with other staff as well as demonstrated experience with independent work and leadership are highly desirable.
The position is full-time and available immediately. Our benefits include health insurance with dental coverage, matching funds for employee 401(k) contributions, and annual paid time off for vacation, sickness, and family-related issues. We also offer a stipend for professional development. Work hours are flexible. Bay Area residency is not a requirement. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a salary range of $67,000 to $76,000.
