Subprime Housing Crisis: Interdisciplinary Policy Perspectives
National symposium on October 10 & 11, 2008, organized by the University of Iowa's Public Policy Center. The symposium responds to the urgent need for well-formulated policies to address the home foreclosure crisis.
This two-day event features several nationally-acclaimed speakers from diverse academic fields, government agencies, financial institutions and non-profit entities. The sessions are geared towards providing a deeper, comprehensive understanding of the causes and consequences of the foreclosure crisis using information from multiple perspectives. Several presenters will critique past policy interventions, discuss new and emerging policy measures at local, state and federal levels, and share best practices.
