Planner

Foth Infrastructure & Environment LLC, a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a Planner for our Green Bay, Madison or Milwaukee, WI location.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead in the generation and modification of zoning codes and ordinances
• Provide assistance with comp plans, land use plans and other planning efforts
• Lead small comp plans (single community plans)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in Planning, Business or Government
• 3 plus years of zoning work and experience
• Exposure to Comprehensive Plans, Outdoor Recreation Plans, Impact Fees, Strategic Plans, Public Facility & Economic Development Grants and other types of planning projects
• Ability to function well in a group setting and deal with multiple planning issues and priorities
• The ability to “sell” his/her skills and expertise to new clients.
• Availability to attend night meetings
• Plan writing and data gathering skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Consulting experience for leaders at the town, village, city and county level
• Experience with public presentations, facilitating them and good negotiating skills
• Masters in/related to Planning
• Strong organizational, teamwork, writing and listening skills
